The Library of the Satu Mare County Museum is a resarch library and included a collection of approximately 50.000 volumes (books and periodicals).
The collecting area of the library is: history, archeology, ethnography, art history, and local history of Satu Mare.
The stock grows much by exchange of publications, smaller amount of gifts and purchases.

The documents cannot be borrowed, but are available for reading room consultation.
